"I'm calling to commend Mayor Bill Wells and Councilman Phil Ortiz for voting for an Anti-Sanctuary Resolution. I also commend Councilman Steve Goble for working with Wells and Ortiz to craft an amended resolution to defend our law enforcement from Sacramento persecution as they keep our community safe. I call on the entire Council, including Gary Kendrick and Michelle Metschel to stand with Wells, Ortiz, and Goble and pass an amended resolution in the next council meeting. Conservatives must stand strong and not succumb to outside Leftist organizers who don’t belong to or represent our community's values. We must cooperate with ICE to remove DANGEROUS ILLEGAL CRIMINALS from 150 nations and uphold our Constitutional and Federal laws. I am calling on the Council to return and pass this resolution without delay for El Cajon’s public safety. Thank you.”
